После того как посмотрела Адскую девочку,начала замечать этот цветок почти в каждом аниме...но когда его показали в "Унылом учителе" мое терпение кончилось..и вот решила поинтересоватся что ж в нем такого особенного.
И вот выяснилось что японцы называют цветок адским (также jigokubana, shibitobana,higanbana,manjushage),возможно потому что он ядовитый и красный.Он имеет какоето отношение к Буддизму,потому что даже есть сутры в которых он вспоминается.Также он асоциируется с похоронами,хотя цветок дикий его садят на кладбищах возле могил,и вносить его в дом считается плохим знаком.Я считаю что также он асоциируется с "смертельным"одиночеством.
Амарилис в анимеАниме в которых я его видела просто множество,все просто не пересчитать,из последнего Набари но о,Адская девочка,унылый учитель2..Но там его называют Амарилисом,этот сорт относится к ним,но растет как я поняла в основном на востоке.

Looking askance at the bustle of the world, drinking deeply of the morning dew, in the corner quietly loitering, there is a definite air of satori about the solitary flower, "so lonely and isolate", in this scene.
　"Manjushage" is one of many names for "higan-bana", the cluster amaryllis, so-called because it flowers around "aki no higan", the autumnal eqinox. As if by volition, it always sprouts in the same place every year, be it from amidst a bunch of weeds, or in the shade of a tombstone, and so the author wonders if, in this case, the isolation from the world is self imposed.
